Happy Halloween! Here is a pattern you can print out and use to make your own Marilyn jack-o-lantern. Here is how it looks finished.
Here is a time saving trick if you’d like a Marilyn pumpkin every year. I went out and bought one of those fake pumpkins from Michael’s Craft Store. You can carve these just like real ones. I used the pattern on it and it looks great. Now I don’t have to carve it over and over again every year.
I have added a section about my recent trip to Michigan to see the Life as a Legend exhibit and Forever Blonde. Complete with photos!
I added a new tattoo
I have updated the list of Marilyn Monroe books in my collection. I had quite a few newer ones to add. I have also added detailed book reviews by David Marshall to many of the books listed. David is co-president of the Forever Marilyn fanclub.
I added a couple of tattoos
If you are within driving distance of Saginaw Michigan mark October 25th on your calendars! Don’t miss Sunny Thompson in her one-woman play based on Marilyn’s own words called “Forever Blonde“. It is playing at the Pit and Balcony Theatre on October 23 and 25. It is being shown in conjunction with the Marilyn Monroe exhibit “Life as a Legend” at theSaginaw Art Museum. Here is a recent review.
The Ramada Inn is offering a special package for out-of-towners. It includes a shuttle service to the events!
I’ll be there Saturday October 25. Drop me a line if you are planning to attend and we can all meet up for dinner.
